All 8th grade activities are subject to the Eighth Grade Eligibility rules.
Parents: Make sure that your child has turned in the Class of 2025 Activities tear-off by the deadline.

Eligibility:
- You may not have any D's, F's, or U's on your latest report card.
- Exception: All 7th and 8th graders are eligible for the Valentine's Day Dance.

Grad Night at Universal Studios

Eligibility:
- See the Eighth Grade Eligibility page for requirements, with grades from the 10-week report card.
- Universal Studios permission packets turned in by the announced date.
- You must wear a Class of 2025 T-shirt or hoodie in order to participate.
- If a student is ineligible according to the 15-week progress report, they will lose their seat.

Eighth Grade Picnic
Friday, June 6, 2025, Periods 5 and 6 on the P.E. field
Eligibility:

Students must be in attendance for the morning rehearsal to attend the picnic in the afternoon.

- Rehearsal: Wednesday, June 4, 2025

Eligibility:
- See the Culmination column on the Eighth Grade Eligibility page.
- During homeroom, students will receive an informational packet concerning culmination with a mandatory tear-off.
- To ensure tickets and participation in the ceremony, students must return the tear-off to homeroom by the return deadline.
- Students must have handed in the Class of 2025 Activities tear-off by the deadline.

Financial Assistance
If a student's family may require financial assistance for the student to participate in 8th grade activities or to purchase Class of 2025 swag, contact an Assistant Principal or Dean of Students Ms. Fields-Coleman.
