I am the Spanish teacher here at Palms Middle School, as well as the English Learners (EL) Coordinator.

English Learners
The English Learners programs are based on the programs and policies of the LAUSD Multilingual Multicultural Education Department (MMED). The LAUSD "English Learners" programs are also referred to as the "Emergent Bilingual” programs.

You are welcome to attend the English Learners Program Options Meeting that we hold every August and to participate in the English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC).
