Hello, Palms Middle School Community!

My name is Suzette Gauthier, and I am excited to serve as the 7th grade School Counselor for the 2026-2027 school year. Next year I'll be the 8th grade counselor for the same students.

I support students in their academic success, social-emotional well-being, and college and career readiness. Before becoming a counselor, I was a teacher, which provided me with valuable insight into students’ academic needs, strengths, challenges, and overall school experience.

I hold a Master of Science in Educational Counseling with a PPS Credential (ULV), a Master of Public Administration Degree (CSUDH), and a College Counseling Credential (UCLA).

As we begin this academic school year, I am energized and ready to support our students and families. I believe we are a team, and I look forward to partnering with students, parents, teachers, and staff to ensure every student has the support and opportunities they need to succeed and thrive.
