Mrs. Ruby Gold
From 2002 to 2025, our Administrative Assistant was Mrs. Ruby Gold, who could seemingly answer any question or solve any problem, while being a friend to everyone she worked with or talked to. She was always happy, and carries her happiness to everyone in the office.
Mrs. Gold worked for LAUSD for 31 years and passed away in April 2026, barely a year after retiring in June 2025. Palms is very grateful for Mrs. Gold's many years of service.
