Beyond the Bell
Beyond the Bell provides a free, on-campus, after-school intramural sports program. Trained supervisors plan and conduct the program each day after school.
The program offers sports instruction, on-campus team competitions, and weekend regional tournaments.
The goals of the program are to provide supervised recreational and enrichment activities in a safe environment. Beyond the Bell is a permissive program where participants arrive and leave at their own discretion and of their own volition. All participants must conduct themselves in a manner that is consistent with the rules of the school and playground.
The program is run by Team Prime Time. See that page for the application.

Palms Girls and Boys Take Spring 2015 Basketball Titles
From the Foundation for Interscholastic Youth Athletics (FIYA):
Palms Middle School made the most of their first year in D-1 Basketball, capturing both the girls and boys championships Tuesday at Staples Center.
In the girls game they took on perennial power Culver City, who went through the regular season undefeated. Palms got off to a fast start but Culver City would not go down quietly, with the game remaining close until the end when Palms pulled away for the 43-31 victory.
On the boys side, Wilders Prep of Inglewood made its first appearance at Staples and came in hungry for the title. Sharp shooting from three-point range kept the Eagles in it, and a second half run got them within eight points as momentum seemed to be shifting. But Palms regrouped and went on to win 67-45.
Congratulations to all four teams on great seasons.
Palms played in the Final Four semi-finals on Friday March 14, 2015, and the finals on Tuesday March 17, 2015. Congratulations!
