Brain Kinesthetic

Brain Kinesthetic is a year-long 6th grade elective.

It is not being offered for the 2023-2024 school year.

Brain Kinesthetic provides a broad enrichment experience for students over the course of the school year, ensuring that students will have a well-rounded experience and giving them the opportunity to explore their interests, discover their strengths, and enhance peer relationships.

Class activities will emphasize student choice, collaborative work, and fun! A high value is given to class participation and collaborative work.

Among the types of activities that this class may include:

• Activities that let students explore their own learning style and personality traits.
• Planning a virtual road trip across several states (like the Road Trip USA elective).
• Solving "missing persons" cases and unlocking historical mysteries.
• Studying and then writing nursery rhymes, fairy tales, fables, and children's books.
• Problem-solving and strategic game playing.
