Meet the Teacher
I was proudly born and raised in Los Angeles. From the mountains to the ocean, I am truly inspired by our city's culture and diversity. Heading East for a bit, I received my Bachelor of Arts in Education Policy and Environmental Studies from Brandeis University in Massachusetts. I then received my Master of Arts in Teaching, Secondary Education from Brandeis the following year. I spent three years teaching middle school English and Humanities outside of Washington DC.
When not in the classroom, you can find me reading in a hammock, going to LACMA, or taking long walks with my feisty chihuahua, Banjo.
