Road Trip USA

Road Trip USA has been a 6th grade  elective in some school years.

In this 10-week class, students plan a virtual road trip across several states.

It is not being offered for the 2023-2024 school year.

They map their route, balance a budget, book hotels, select state attractions to visit, and create an album of their adventures.

It's a very fun way to "experience" parts of the country and learn about states and regions.

Parents shouldn't be surprised if students want to take the trip they plan for real!

A similar activity is one part of the Brain Kinesthetic elective.
