Palms Pride & Spirit Week
Palms gear can usually be purchased on Back-to-School Night and at other school events.
Spirit Week is held during at least one week in each semester. Students show their school spirit by dressing up or participating in special activities. Spirit Weeks are organized by Leadership.
Check the School Calendar for the dates of Spirit Weeks. Sometimes Spirit Week will be shorter than a full week, for example when it's Thanksgiving week or the week of Veteran's Day.

College Day
College Day is the last Friday school day before the annual UCLA-USC football game. Because of the strong crosstown rivalry, administrators, teachers, and students are encouraged to show their support for their favorite sports team.
Every year on College Day, the Palms Band serenades other classes by playing the UCLA Fight Song. You can hear the song, played by the UCLA Band, in the video below.

- Mask Up Day: Wear a crazy mask or face paint!
- Marvel versus DC Day: Choose sides in the comic book competition!
- Mix & Match Day: What's the most mismatched outfit you can come up with?
- Movie Character Day: Who is your favorite movie character?
- Music T-shirt Day: Wear a T-shirt showing the music you like!
- Neon/Pastel Day: Wear neon or pastel colors, as bright or colorful as you like!
- Pajama Pants Day: Wear pajama bottoms, sweats, or other patterned pants! (On other days, pajamas don't meet the Dress Code.)
