Hi there! Welcome to Mrs. Everling's 6th grade math, science, and/or blogging course.
I'm a teacher in Palm Middle School's Modern Media and Communications Magnet. This means that while I only teach students in the Magnet program, I love getting to know all the students at Palms!
I team teach with Mrs. Williams, who teaches language arts and history. We work together closely to meet the needs of all of our wonderful students.

Meet the Teacher
About Me
I've been teaching in California since 2020 and Los Angeles since 2022, and I absolutely love it! When I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our cat, Miss. I also love reading, playing video games, gardening, and finding new ways to make learning fun and meaningful.
My Teaching Philosophy
I believe in creating a classroom where all students feel valued, respected, and inspired to achieve their best. My focus is on building academic equity, fostering accountability and responsibility, and cultivating a love of learning.
Tips for Success
- Stay Organized: Use the planner that the school provides to keep track of your assignments and check Schoology daily.
- Stay Motivated: You aren't going to know everything the first time you try it. Don't give up on yourself!
- Stay On Top of Things: Check Schoology often, ask for help when you need it, and don't procrastinate (too much!).
