Dress Code Reminder

The Code of Conduct covers the rules for Attendance, Disciplinary Action, the School Environment, Ethical Behavior and Respect for Persons or Property, Health and Safety, and the Student Dress Code.

Clothes should be comfortable and not a distraction to other students.

To maintain a positive atmosphere for learning, the following are not permitted indoors at school:

  • Hats
  • Hoods
  • Headscarves
  • Headbands
  • Hairnets
  • Hair rollers
  • Curlers
  • Caps of any kind, including wave caps
  • Sunglasses
  • Pants that do not fit
  • Pants worn below the waist
  • Ripped jeans
  • Shoes with open toes or open heels
  • Low-cut tops
  • Bare midriffs
  • "Short" shorts or skirts
  • Tank tops with straps less than one inch
  • Other items of clothing inappropriate for middle school
