Palms Middle School Home

In 1976, Palms students, parents, and staff buried a Time Capsule under the quad. It's been 50 years since then, so we will dig up that Time Capsule in Spring 2026, and bury a new Time Capsule of our own.

Preparation start now. We need parents to help with planning and to track down former Palms students from 1976.

8th grade students: You will return your iPad and charger during the culmination rehearsal on Wednesday, June 4, 2025.

6th and 7th grade students: If you will be returning to Palms Middle School for Fall 2025, you will keep your iPad and charger. If you will NOT be returning to Palms Middle School for Fall 2025, you will turn in your iPad and charger by Friday, June 7th, 2025, to your homeroom teacher.

The same applies to Chromebooks.

The librarian from the Palms-Rancho Park Public Library, part of the Los Angeles Public Library system, will be visiting Palms during morning break on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, in the Library.

Students are welcome to stop by to say hello or ask questions about our city's public libraries, including the many summer programs.

Parents of new 6th students for Fall 2025 are invited to a Zoom meeting on Monday, June 2, 2025, from 5:00pm in 6:00pm.

You'll hear information that can help every incoming Palms family, and have a chance to ask questions.

The last meeting of the Local School Leadership Council (LSLC) for this school year will be Monday, June 2, 2025, starting at 4:00pm in Zoom.

The Palms community is invited to the Ballet Folklórico Spring Show, on Thursday, May 29, 2025, starting at 6:00pm in the Auditorium.

This is our last performance of the year.
