Palms Middle School Home

The Friends of Palms Pledge Drive has begun, so it's time to make your donation. This is the annual donation drive for Friends of Palms, which supports our educational programs, enrichment programs, teacher support and appreciation, the Palms Garden, other programs and events at school, and much more.

Raffle Special: For every $500 donation made by Sunday, September 26, 2025 on our "Donate" page, you'll receive one entry for a chance to win a restaurant gift card. A $1,000 donation will receive 2 entries, a $1,500 donation will receive 3 entries, and so on.

September 12, 2025 is a Minimum Day. Class periods are shorter, and dismissal time is 12:37pm.

Students can learn about dozens of campus clubs, and sign up for their favorites, during Club Rush on the quad, lunchtime on Thursday, September 11, 2025.

There are 26 lunchtime clubs and 6 after-school clubs, most of them meeting once a week. From Anime Club to Yo-Yo Club, there's something for everyone.

Elections for the School Site Council (SSC) and English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC) will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 from 9:00am to 9:30am in the Library or in Zoom.

You must attend this meeting to be eligible for the election.

Parents are invited to a Parent Workshop in Zoom on the topic of "Supporting Your Children with Phone-Free School" on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, from 5:00pm to 6:00pm.

Taking the PSAT (Wednesday, October 22, 2025) will give 8th graders practice for the PSAT/NMSQT and the SAT.

The test is available to all 8th grade students, first come, first served. Only 50 spaces are available. The tests costs $14, cash only, at the Student Store. (It was free in past years.)

PSAT permission slips will be distributed to 8th graders during the week of September 8 to 12, 2025, with a return deadline of Friday, September 19 or when all 50 spaces are filled. Full details are on the PSAT page.
