Black History Month Assembly: February 29

The Black History Month assembly, with the theme "Reach for the Stars," will take place at school on Leap Day (Thursday, February 29, 2024).
The presentations will include tributes to the NASA mathematicians featured in the "Hidden Figures" movie, Josephine Baker, and NBA stars.
Jazz Band will perform.

Leadership Students Visit Reagan Presidential Library

Students in the 7th and 8th grade Leadership elective took a field trip to the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library Leadership Center. They role-played and learned to improve their decision-making skills. While seated on Air Force One, ready to "fly back to California," they were ordered to get off because of "an international crisis." It was an exciting learning experience.
